Student Visa

Student Direct Stream: The Student Direct Stream is an Immigration Program introduced in June 2018 by the Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Study Permits applied by Students from India, China, Morocco, Pakistan, Senegal, Philippines and Vietnam.

To apply for Study Visa You must:

  • A legal resident of India, China, Morocco, Pakistan, Senegal, Philippines, Vietnam;

Note: The students who possess citizenship of the mentioned countries but living in another country are not eligible to apply under this stream. They can apply under the regular Study Permit Program.

  • Acceptance letter copy issued by Designated Learning Institute (DLI);

Note: Not all Designated Learning Institute make you eligible for Post-Graduation Work Permit.

  • Proof of Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC);
  • Proof of full payment of first-year tuition fees;
  • Meet the language proficiency requirement in English or French;
  • Complete an immigration Medical Examination;
  • Meet education requirements.

A study permit is not a visa and does not, by itself, allow you to travel to or enter Canada. You may also need a visitor visa or an electronic travel authorization (eTA).
